Hello,
I am new to the hobby and want to try and get started. I see the post for the X-Ray, but that guy seems biased. What other options should I be entertaining? I'm open to just about any scale. Some guys that I have talked to said that 1:8 scale is easier to drive but more expensive to buy and maintain than 1:10 scale, but I like the looks of the sedan cars.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. The good, the bad, the ugly, etc.

Sedan is a pretty good place to start. I ran sedan for a couple of years before making the switch to 1/8. There are a ton of brands to consider. Is there a price range you are trying to stay under for a car kit?
