Onyx Chargers

I have the 230 model, it serves me just fine, but I want to be able to charge larger LiPo packs, which charger do you think I should go with?

I am going to be racing electric indoor this winter, that 230 looks like a good option for me. Probably won't be running the big lipo's, so that's not big deal. How do you like it other than that? Should I get two chargers or do you think it will handle my needs?

honestly a lot of people at my track use the $35 dollar chargers you can get from hobby king. So far they work great.

As for your question Zip...

When I raced electric I found one charger was never enough. It is dependent on a few things though.

how many classes are you running?
and how many battery packs do you have?

If you only have 2 packs i would suggest another charger so that after a run you can get the second one going while the first finishes up. If you have 4 packs and you remember to chage the night before a race you should be able to get by with one charger.

I use the 35 dollar charger for my receiver packs in nitro. They work great. at that price i would definetely buy two. Its nice not to have to wait fro one pack to be done to charde another

Sorry to highjack your thread Nitro.....

Not sure how many packs I will run, at least 2 I would think.

This like a viable option from Hobby King: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... _acc_.html

Could work well for your Nitro!
